FOREWORD
I would like to share with everybody what I have discovered recently
regarding the Holy Trinity of God.
I am not a theologian. I am an artist. I started my relationship with
Jesus when I was eleven. I paint landscapes in the out of doors which
helps me to feel and appreciate every detail made out of God's hands.
This allowed me to be in communion with the creator hence praising
Him while admiring His marvelous creation. My faith was increasing
every day to a point that I felt compelled to share it with others. Not
knowing how I could accomplish such a wish, I prayed to God seeking
His guidance. After several years, God answered my prayers and asked
me to use the talent that I was blessed with, to preach and spread His
word through my paintings.
The mission which was entrusted to me was first limited to painting the
life of Jesus Christ. Then it was expanded to paint Christ from eternity
to end time.
THE STORY
It was a challenge indeed. I am used to paint what I see and here, I had
to paint the unseen. But the real big challenge was to paint the creator
from eternity. Thanks to God’s help and to His Holy Spirit’s inspirations
and guidance, I was able to accomplish this unbelievable mission
in 24 paintings. As part of this mission I was also inspired to write a
book entitled “Christ from Eternity to End time”
When I wanted to paint Christ from eternity, I didn't know what to do.
Guided by the Holy Spirit I reached a verse in John's Gospel which
stimulated my inspiration.
John 1:18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the
bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
This verse reminded me what I had read a long time ago in the Old
Testament when Moses wanted to see God’s face and God’s response
was that this is impossible. This is written in Exodus;
Exodus 33:18 Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me Your Glory!”
Exodus 33:20 But He (God) said,”You cannot see My face, for no man can see
Me and live!”
Although I knew that God is invisible, It was, for me, a great discovery
like an opened door to a hidden mystery.
The Bible doesn’t tell why God is invisible. May be because of His immensity!
God is probably a huge concentration of spiritual energy like
a sun from which heaven is permanently receiving Love through its
heat and Wisdom through its light.
I was standing motionless in front of my large empty canvas, willing to
paint the invisible God. Always inspired by the Holy Spirit, I imagined
the firmament in Heaven with its spiritual lights coming out of soft fire
as you can see in the image’s background above.
To paint Christ in God’s bosom, I was guided to read from the book
of Proverbs the following two verses. It was for me like a message from
Christ telling me what had happened at that time when He was begotten
from God’s bosom.
Proverbs 8:22,23 The Lord brought Me forth as the first of His works, before
His deeds of old; I was formed long ages ago, at the very beginning, when the world
came to be.
While painting Christ in the bosom of God I felt very blessed to imagine
the first appearance of Christ. I can't fully explain my emotions
at that moment but I heard several times in my mind a voice saying
“The Holy Trinity, the Holy Trinity. This is the explanation of God's
Trinity.” And slowly, slowly every thing became clear to me. As if the
mighty invisible God was revealing to me the birth of His Holy Trinity.
Yes, I said: Being invisible from eternity and knowing every thing, God
also knows that He will create the Heaven with its angels and the earth
with its humans. He knows that His creatures need to see Him in order
to know Him, love Him and believe in Him. He knows that He
must be visible, visit them, walk with them and establish His covenant
with them. Yes, I said to myself: this must be it. God who can do every
thing, can make Himself visible through His Word by revealing Himself
in Christ the Lord who will be begotten from His bosom.
So I painted Christ coming out of the sky firmament's light with a message
expressed by His hands. His left hand announcing God's Trinity,
and His right hand holding His Sacred Heart expressing His infinite
Love. The full expressed message is: “The Triune God Loves you.”
WHAT THIS REVELATION TELLS US
This painting of Christ in the bosom of the invisible God from eternity
should reveal to us many things that I can summarize as follows:
1) Knowing God
No words can explain such a sophisticated subject better than a painting.
Words are forgotten, images remain. It is very important to know
our God. It is by knowing Him that we can love Him and by loving
Him we will believe, trust and have faith in Him. Having faith in God
is the key for our salvation and an open gate to His heavenly Kingdom
where we will enjoy spending eternity with Him.
2) Understanding the Holy Scriptures
When I finished the painting and looked at it, I discovered answers and
explanations to many verses regarding the Unity of God that I couldn't
fully understand before. Here are some of these verses. You can experience
it yourself by looking to the above painting for each verse you
read:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God.
John 14:7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.
John 10: 30 I and the Father are one.
John 14:8-10 Philip said, Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for
us."Jesus answered-"Don't you know Me, Philip, even after I have been among you
such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say
"Show us the Father?"
3) Christ is God
When Christ, the Word of God, was incarnated in Jesus Christ and became
the Son of God, He was God as predicted by the prophet Isaiah:
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give birth to a son, and will call him
Immanuel (the hebrew word for "God is with us")
Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them saying, "All authority has
been given to me in heaven and on earth."
4) The Holy Spirit is God
God's love is not limited to the fact that He revealed Himself to us
through Jesus Christ. He also wanted to be present in each one of us.
He wants us to share His Love and His Wisdom through His Holy
Spirit who will be present in those faithful human hearts willing to have
Him in them.
John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my
name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to
you.
5) The Unity of God
Our God is One God. The fact that He revealed Himself in Christ
and, lives in our hearts through His Holy Spirit doesn’t alter His Holy
Unity. This has been confirmed by Christ Himself in the Gospel of
Mark:
Mark 12:29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all commandments is: 'Hear, O
Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.
If Jesus considers that the most important thing for us to know is that
our "Lord is one" we better believe it.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word,
and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one.
6) The Holy Trinity of God
There is one God who is invisible. He revealed Himself, through His
Word, in Christ who is begotten from His bosom. He is present in His
the hearts of those faithful to Him through His Holy Spirit.
God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are three entities in one body. They
act in total agreement and harmony with Each Other whether they are
grouped together or temporarily separated.
EPILOGUE
This wonderful experience that I lived for some four years has enlightened
my soul and allowed me to discover the Holy Trinity of God
without any doubt or hidden mystery.
If God inspired me to paint and write about this important subject it
is also for all those who are searching for the truth, the way and the life
which are in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
